Right now im running a 6-24x50 leapers witch i like. But i want to get a diferent scope for my 10/22 so i can put the leapers on my jw-15a.

I know leapers is considered cheap crap, but the scope has run flawless for me and everyone whos used it on my Ruger.

So im looking at a crossfire 4-12x50AO for $220.

Honestly i would prefer another 6-24AO and i would hate to see the Vortex on my Norinco.

So i would like your opinions and sugestions with brands and such, and i don't need to spend over 600 on a scope for my 10/22 as the stupid thing has cost me enough so far.

I shoot offhand and bi-pod.

I use a Crossfire II 4x12x50 on a Savage 93R17TTR-SR. Works great, clear as can be and beats the old Diamondback by a mile. I wouldn't consider it even related to the old Crossfire.

Ya thanks for the input i went and got it. ya it's a crossfire 2 and it's much nicer than the Leapers. Now i just need to find some time to sight it in.

For sure go with the Crossfire II model. Vortex should have just given it a new name unrelated to Crossfire as it is such an improvement on the first generation stuff, which would still beat a Leapers and many others out of the box.
