just got myself a Rob Arms XCR and want to put a bipod on it... I was thinking a harris bipod but realized you need for a sling mount to put it on. Anyone have a solution to mounting a bipod on a picatiny rail?

Yep, quite a few different picatinny adapters for them, for a QR one the ADM mount is really nice: http://theshootingedge.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=516

Or for a cheapie: http://www.wolverinesupplies.com/details/3025/FAB-Defense-Harris-Bipod-Adaptor.aspx

If you are bench shooting my suggestion is to skip the bipod and go with either a bag or sled.
Caldwell has some nice bags or the lead sled solo.
imho the XCR has enough muzzle lift that a bipod just hops around.

If it is just for looks, the Harris looks ugly because of the large mount and adapter.
I had a bipod on my XCR for less than a day before it came back off, it adds too much additional front weight to an already front heavy rifle.

imho an AFG2 is a much better and useful bottom rail accessory.

Agreed.....angled foregrip and bag/rest/sled is the best option.
