10-22 trigger groups?

I'm helping a friend with fixing a faulty trigger on his 10-22. I understand there are some different styles and am wondering if they still fit other production series?

I don't know what fits and what does not when I discuss used triggers. His S/N is 254-12###.

So far, I think only KID makes an upgade kit that is designed for the polymer trigger housing and MAY NOT work properly in an aluminum housing. Everything else should be plug and play. Power Custom and Volquartsen both make parts that are highly regarded as far as drop in replacements go.

As for whole groups, unless they specify otherwise, they should all fit.

All 10/22 trigger group housing and most of the guts are interchangeable.
Whats the problem with your buddies trigger?
