won the elk draw Now we Need help

Im in a group of 3 that drew a cow tag for 57 area 2 Now were looking for places to hunt. If you can point us in the right area or maybe you have some land that we can hunt that would be great. My brother inlaw and his wife are heading there on Tuesday for a week to scout. Any help would be great Ken
 
Apply without having a place to hunt..Hmmmmmmm..

I know a few guys last yr that did the same, and didn't find anywhere to hunt, where there was elk...Good luck!
 
Not even sure if there are any meaningful number of Elk in 57. All sightings I hear about are form South East of Bancroft like, 61, 63, 67 and apparently, they are mostly hanging out in limited areas of mostly private properties, farms.... smart buggers :p

Elk hunting in Ontario is 10 years away from being a serious hunt. Until than, I don't bother applying. Good luck anyway.
 
Not any good elk hunting to speak of in 57 without paying a landowner. Lots of elk tho. if you know where to go and are friends with the locals.

They were complaining when their farms were being ruined but now hunters have problem of access to the land. There is a guy in 60 wmu looking for place and elk info too - Biggs
 
I know of 10 local groups that have tags this year,,,they will have first choice of any of the private land.
If I were you I would look at hunting the second week,by then most of the locals will have there tag filled.
