What was/will be your First AR15?

For those already well-entrenched in black rifles, what was your first AR15? And for those interested in entering into the fray, which AR15 are you most leaning towards for your first AR15 as well.

My first was Alberta tactical lower with lwrc m6a1 upper. Sold both peices ages ago with some regret

Have since owned and sold
- 2 X RRA 9mm
- Colt LE6920
- Noveske 14.5" and 10.5"
- KAC SR15
- Sabre Defense 14.5"

On my way to me as I type this
- KAC SR15 11.5" and 14.5"
- Noveske 7.5"

Wish list for the future
- LWRC M6 IC 14.7"
- HK MR223 10.5"
- Colt HBAR 20"

First was a norinco but that was my I introductory rifle. I consider my first true AR to be my Armalite that I purchased after I decided what I liked/wanted in an AR.

Went the DD M4V5 route for numero uno and have no regrets! Shes solid, fairly light and fit & finish is superb

The great news is that black rifle enthusiasts have probably never had a wider choice of AR15's at affordable or entry-level prices than the past few years.

I bought a used Armalite og a CGN'r a long way back and as it sits not has fired over 50k rds ( three barrels and one new bolt)

i think there is a DD in my future

Haha, so true. My first AR15 was a 10.5" LMT Defender. I still recall it fondly...

How are your guys' DD M4V5s? I had my mind set that I was going to buy the last one at wolverine last Thursday but when I got there and checked it out I was so disappointed on the fit and quality of it. Lemon most likely?

I too went with the Daniel Defense M4 V5 as my first... should arrive any day now...
