Summer Slam VII,(FULL & CLOSED) New Brunswick-Level III( JAN.4,2012-FORMS ON LINE)

Hoping saturday to get lots of shooting done...as sunday looks crappy. They are toying with the idea of an early start time...i think.......but wait until registration for final word.

Huh? Sunday is looking bad? Mo, where are you you looking for the forecast?

BTW, any clue about stages or at least round count? The ipsc.org says 300 rounds, but is it still accurate number?

Enviroment Canada for the bad forecast

But it's still early to call the weather for sure.

The round count from the stages I had approved for L3 came to a total of 257.

Rob's right - NOTHING can be as bad as Barrie's L3 for weather on the Friday. Bring it!

Yeah..it just changed again. At one point it said 35-40mm on sunday. Now it is saying clouds for sunday..but rain on sat. Go figure. oh...and accuweather and environment canada don't agree at all on the weather. I checked both just now.

Like last year; I had a great time.

Thanks very much to Serge, Chris and Georges, and of course - all the members & thier families of the Restigouche gun club who worked so very hard to put this match on.

While officiating after I finished shooting; I rolled my ankle on a stage pretty badly. Not only did my squad quickly come to my aid, but I got a great group of people coming to make sure I was comfortable and OK. Thanks very much to Jamie from EESA who sat with me and wanted to make sure that it wasn't worse than it could have been.

That kind of reaction in this sport sure makes me proud to be part of it.

I iced it the 5 hour drive home and it progressively got better.

I can happily report today that the swelling on my ankle has dropped from grapefruit sized to just puffy and sore. I'll probably be back to running around in a couple weeks.

Apologies to many that I would have like to say goodbye to on the way out, but it wasn't very easy from the back seat of the truck with my foot in ice.

I'm really looking forward to next year.

Thanks again folks!
Sean.
