New AR failure to fire **Solved operator error**

I wonder if I can get a free NEA15 out of those guys if I tattoo their logo on my arm

This is odd… someone randomly claimed their upper was test fired but not the lower… before anyone had suggested this is what happened to dweenz NEA… Strange indeed…

It is pretty clear to me that some facts are not lining up here… Everyone isn’t lying, something is going on and arguing about it as you guys have been is not helping.

It's just the truth from me. The upper was obviously fired, brass marks on extractor, carbon in the barrel etc.

The lower was unoiled, dry as a popcorn fart and spic and span. No marks in the trigger group whatsoever, which if that lower had been fired would have been evident after round 1.

I was just putting it out there because there is a possibility that the upper on Dweenz rifle could have been fired at NEA with a different lower on it. Heck, they might have a designated lower just for that purpose. Who knows.

Well… I have this tendency to put more trust and belief in the guys who come off as cool, calm, and collective. ;)

I mean come on, I did follow the entirety of dweenz’s thread and this all comes up now? How many weeks later? It sounds to me that it is entirely possible that the lower was swapped at some point between test fire and dweenz getting the rifle.

Regardless of what may or may not have happened, I find it hard to believe there was any degree of QC in place for NEA to have not noticed insanely-heavy or fault trigger groups, out-of-spec sling plates that literally caused the charging handle and BCG to grind against the lower/upper receiver and incorrectly-sized buffer tubes that caused numerous firing-related issues.

I can't really fault any of the dealers, because have we ever heard of any other scenarios with where they have to open, inspect and test supposedly new firearms from any other manufacturer?

Maybe NEA has since implemented new QC and testing procedures, but with their departure from CGN (along with most of the accompanying threads detailing said issues) it's no longer as transparent anymore, either

Its getting to the point of me wanting to buy one just to get on your nerves. Then brag about how it shoots out of the box.

You grossly over estimate how much I care. That and your tough talk is really scaring me. I mean you could send me a nasty PM or something  and good luck with that getting one that shoots out of the box from Nea

That would look so badass in a hottub if you were surrounded by girls and then said "Yeah, I got the same griffin on my gun, no my other gun"

Either way, I would have bought an NEA15 already had I not needed a new boat motor :(
