hey, just picked up a norinco coach gun. after shooting a few rounds, I noticed this little gem (pic below) fall out when i took off the fore grip. the piece is about 3/4" x 1/4" x1/8" roughly, and looks like it was welded on one side. the fore grip did/does have some noticeable play in it since the piece fell out. now what im wondering is if this was just a piece of scrap or a part of the gun? nothing on the gun really matched the colour/texture of the piece of metal and it didn't affect function at all, besides the wiggly fore end.

and i think posts like these are called "f**kin useless..

Sorry Bro. I just couldn't resist.

You've got a brand new gun with twisted pieces of metal falling off of it. What do you expect people to say?

what im hoping (more like pleading with the gun gods) is to affirm my thoughts that its just a piece that got stuck somewhere...lol. but you did hit the nail on the head with my thoughts on the "i shouldn't have bought a norinco" comment...

I'm not sure what that is, but I have heard (and saw examples) that the forestock has a tendency to crack and/or fall apart on the DA Outlaw. I'm not slagging Norinco, as I own a few of their products and am quite happy with them overall.
