When does Bear season start in Ontario?

Depends on what WMU. Some start on the 15th of August, Others the day after labour day.

I won't be bear hunting. I asked because I am camping this weekend at my hunt camp and there are reports of bears in the immediate area. In case I was forced to take one, I have a tag but it's moot as the season isn't open yet.
