Hey guys, just unboxing another Versamax and having an issue.

No matter how much I tighten the cap down the forearm is still a little bit loose where it meets the receiver. It's not moving back and fourth but with a little bit of force I can push it tighter to the receiver and pull it back. It's probably only moving an eighth of an inch either and I don't notice it when holding the gun normally but it's still bothering me. Is this something you guys have noticed? It still feels solid so it must just be one of those things. I also notice the trigger has a little bit of creep but is otherwise smooth. Is this normal? I also need to know how to adjust the cast. When I bring up the gun I can see more of the green sight on the right than the left, how do I adjust it back? Last thing, how the f*ck do I work the quick unload for the mag and switching out the load in the chamber.

Thanks a lot!!!!

Justin

The loose forearm is a known problem on the Versamax. You have 2 options:

1. Contact Remington...They are providing replacement caps- back ordered until who-knows-when. Once again, Remington customer service never misses an opportunity to disappoint.

2. Use an o-ring between the cap and the forearm.

Good luck.

Everything is figured out except the forearm and trigger creep. The problem Is not my cap, if I go too tight it actually gets more loose near the receiver. Very strange.

Again, by loose I mean it moves towards and away from the receiver just a hair. There is no war ward or back motion just a little up and down. I hope this makes sense?

How to adjust the cast and how the magazine cut off works are both in the manual you need to do some reading.

I had actually read through a few times. There was a burr in the magazine I had to grind down to get the shells to release properly. All is peachy in that department!
