Would also need boltface opened, which could also be done for .330 Dakota, 7mm Dakota, .375 Dakota etc.

Actually SuperCub, the Ultra mags have the same rim dia as the belted mags but the 404 won't fit on most Rem Ultra mag bolt faces. I believe it's about 6 thou bigger. Rem reduced their rim dia to match the belted mag boltface where Win did not on their short Mags and retain the full 404 rim dia.

I was always under the impression that they were the same, but never did check it fully.
