Check this out.. Picked up a muzzle brake for my Kel-tec KSG, couldnt find one for a while, until this weekend. :)
It is aluminum so its much lighter then it looks. Havn't shot it yet, but looking forward to testing it next weekend, i've been told it works very well.

Yep, I'll let you guys know how it is..
Ports are 90 degrees, no angle to it, 24 ports.
As for who makes it, I don't know, I bought it of "Choper1" here on CGN, I think he has more..

nice , would be good to kow how effective it is, i know my 12i hc 870 with comp and endie buffer has less felt recoil then my 18" police
bbb

KSG MUZZLE BRAKE available now

Dimitri's KSG brake is based on the SAIGA 12 g. design.

KEL-TEC Is NOT shipping their flash hiders to Kanada.
SO -

The SAIGA style brake is now available by e-mailing -

Michael <alumalite@gmail.com>

It is a very worthwhile addition because the KSG is so light and kicks like a mule on steroids.

My 14" Remington with an Enidine buffer and no brake is more effective than the KSG with the Saiga based brake,

But the Saiga comes close. :)

Well so much for that..Michael no longer shipping to Canada, due to a kerfluffle with the administration here over a business account..he also has a gill type brake that he says works better...will try to get one in some round about fashion..

Business accounts are only available to paid business members. You cannot open a commerical account without joining the business membership program.

His reply -
Should I then remove all links to your forum until I receive payment from you...? I did not sign up with your forum for a few KSG sales, I don't need it!... just for input on what Canadians are looking for and might need, if this is the kind of response I can expect from your forum I will be more than happy to NOT sell or ship to CANADA!
And seeing as how you de-activated my account that's just the response I will give your Country! " No sales to Canada period!....Due to CanadianGunNuts forum " !
why would I pay to bring something new to Canadians?....lol
I have never paid for a forum in my life and I'm not going to start now, a forums members is what brings traffic thru a website and that is what makes a specific website valuable to its owner, the owners of such a domain profit from this traffic and then get greedy and ask for membership....? what's wrong with this picture? I understand very well that canadiangunnuts.com is hardly the representative for Canada but I'm sick of the bulls**t you guys pull and do have the power to chose who I sell to and for whatever reason I see fit, and this is good enough for me! I'm not some new guy on the block, I built the town and have been around for 53 years... Man that pisses me off!
If it were a storefront with marketing and all the benefits of a real marketplace I would have no problem with investing in something like that but it's a forum and I would not have the time to hang out there just for a few sales here and there.... just a flea market! EBay or Gunbroker your not!
Furthermore, Remove me from your members database, I don't want any association with your forum....

Maybe I should require a fee to look at my site as well!.... Seeing as how I get upwards of 1000 visits a day......lol

Have a wonderful day..... And you don't need to reply!

CGN policy working to bring wonderful new accessories to Kanada ;)

I can see his frustration if never delt with forums before, but the thing that he is clearly missing is that CGN has 100000 members, probably half of those shop here regularly...
So why not pay for such good exposure.. ?

U.S forums dont have the greed caused by socialist countries -

Anyways -

After the next shipment (if it comes) - 19 year waiting list -
There will be a very small quantity of KSG's in Kanada.

By the way Dmitri - Why are you limiting the field of view on your KSG ?
Its not a magnifying long range scope -

Just for clarity, that's not a muzzle brake. There's no baffle in the device that I can see, and that's a good thing with a shotgun! You might get some recoil reduction from gas hitting the forward edge of the ports. It should help to reduce muzzle flip a bit.

Muzzle brakes - How many have a baffle ?

See you in the east - bro -

All of them.

It's a common mistake for people to call any muzzle device a brake. But it's not correct and it can be misleading. It has to have at least one baffle to be classified as a brake. Otherwise there's nothing for the gas to "push" on to mitigate recoil. It's a compensator, which means it will compensate for muzzle rise. It won't do anything for recoil.

Yeah, sure.

.

Huh??

My brakes (yes: brakes) work by directing the gasses back towards me on an angle, effectively pulling the gun forward, mitigating recoil...I'm not seeing any baffles though.

What brakes are you using?

An A2 flash hider is a good example of a compensator. Helps to reduce muzzle flip but does nothing for recoil.

Yeah, sure.

I say tomahto you say tomayto !

So ALL my muzzle brakes have at least one baffle. The front one counts as a baffle. ;)
