25 or 30 rd 597 mags with coupler snaps?

Are there any 25 or 30 round Remington 597 mags that have the coupler snaps on the sides like the Butler Creek 10/22 mags?

Yes, the Shooter's Ridge (aka Champion) 25 round mags have this feature. I have a couple but haven't used them yet. I noticed that they don't sit as firmly as the Remington mags in mag well and are a bit sloppy. Also (and probably related) my last shot hold open doesn't function with these.

The spring design is different (snail spring), so it'll be interesting to see how they perform.

the last shot hold open doesnt work with one of my 30 round remington mags and sometimes works with another 30 round remington mag

I've read over and over that the hold-open on 597 will only work with factory 10rd mags. I'm surprised Mikeu is getting any that stay open.

When I had my 597vtr I ran the "Shooters Ridge" 25 round mags and they clip together just like the BC mags. Been quite some time since I sold them on the EE but I originally purchased them from Wanstalls. Always fed reliably.

Don't waste your time. They don't feed worth sh1t. If you want to run 25+ cap mags in a .22 semi, get a 10/22.
