Odd .41 mag rim

Was just prepping a bag of Winchester brass, and had one oddball in the lot. Extra wide bevel on the top, and some different machining below the rim. No big deal really, I set it aside as a curiosity...just though you folks might find it interesting.

The oddball is on the right...regular case on left.

I have gotten some brass like that a few times over the years. Send Winchester a pic and lot number maybe you'll get a fee bag of brass out of it.

Howdy...and in Saskatchewan too

I'm doing all I can to gain more converts...we do regular office trips to range, and my .41 Ruger is immensely popular.

I received a couple of pieces that looked like that as well! They were .375 win and speaks more to quality control than anything.
