i have 2, an older encore in stainless and a newer pro hunter in stainless. .223, 22-250, .300 win mag, .375 H&H, 20ga rifled and 50 cal BP barrels. love the guns, accurate enough for hunting with all barrels. with the 20ga and 50 cal BP barrels i can keep all shots in a 8" target at 200 yrds and thats good enough for this hunter. have had several other barrels but this is what i own at the moment. they all have talley one piece base and rings, and i highly recommend them, exept for my 22-250 barrel that i want to change the scope on. i've tried the BellM over sized hinge pin and the T/C lock pins and i've stayed with the T/C lock pins but you should sand the inside of the forearm where it goes over the pins if someone were to go that route. BellM trigger in both frames i own but i honestly don't notice a difference over the stock trigger. the only problem i've ever had was with a 12ga rifled barrel that they drilled the base holes too deep and when T/C was contacted by myself they said it wasn't an uncommon problem with that barrel, but was having issues with exporting into canada when S&W took over. don't know if they've gotten all there export issues resolved or not yet. they replaced it with the 20ga barrel that i have now because it was in stock in canada but didn't have any 12ga rifled barrels in stock in canada at that time. they also gave me a maxima base and a camo forearm for free with the 20ga barrel "for my troubles". i highly recommend.
