Sold the Stevens last night to the Cpl from range control. I remember some of hungrys stuff but may grab you to give me a hand so I don't mess it up. What rail do you have on your M14?

Front rail is a Ultimak M8 and Bushnell TRS-25 red dot.
Get some Garand rear sights and a new op rod spring guide first ...is the front sight on straight ??
 
Looks straight to me but what do I know.

Opsgear.com currently has the UTG front rail on sale for 49.99, though at about $30 for expedited USPS shipping it probably isn't worth it unless you're ordering a couple other items from them. The Ultimak is definitely the best option for a scout setup, but costs $199 plus shipping from Brownells.
 
Yeah Frumpy you definately got a great deal there. I was back on Sunday for a bit again and there was only one m-14s and it was full size and not that great a deal. I picked up some more reloading stuff on Sunday so am now set for my .45 to get here and will soon be ready to reload for my m14.
 
Haha my buddy scooped up a whole whack of the 2007's when they were never coming back into the country for $400.00 each (3 mags).

Is yours a 2007 or do you have one of those chump ass 2009 poly's?
