Case trimmers: RCBS vs Lyman vs Redding

I'm looking at upgrading my trimmer to something a little quicker than what came in my lee kit. The lock stud works but doing a higher volume I'd like to upgrade. I am looking at the following:

RCBS Trim Pro Kit
Redding Case Trimmer Model 1400
Lyman Universal Case Trimmer

Anyone experience with the about units is greatly appreciated. Looking at them so far I like the Redding but all of the above are possibilities. Thoughts?

Have the RCBS Trim Pro and 2 Lyman case trimmers but the little Lee trimmer is what I use most and mounted on a drill it's pretty quick. I polish the case while it's on the lock stud in the drill to remove surface discoloration.

I've tried most of the hand trimmers over the years, and I believe the Forster is the best of that type. The king of trimmers though is the Giraud, I've had mine since 2003. Nothing matches its combination of accuracy and speed due to the fact that it trims, chamfers, and de-burrs all in a single pass, and uses the case shoulder as the length gauge. FWIW, I do have an RCBS hand trimmer on the corner of my bench in case I have to load for a cartridge I don't have a Giraud case holder for.

Went with the LE Wilson trimmer and all the attachments I need.

Looking into trimmers a little more over the last little while I decided what I really wanted was something more precise, yet easy to use. It came down to the redding 2400 or wilson and am going to try the wilson. I will have to buy separate holders for each caliber/family as I go but I like that better than a universal system that can do everything, but not one thing particularly well.

I will always have the lee setup but I'm thinking my the Wilson trimmer will fit a hole in my reloading gear.

As mentioned - RCBS trim pro with 3-way cutters - REALLY saves time and gives a good product

Add power to it and you can handle all the trimming most of us will ever have to do. :D

Well the Wilson trimmer and accessories arrived when I was holidays. Unboxed them today and this looks like a well built unit! Will have some more opinions after using it a bit hopefully this week!

IMHO once you use the Wilson trimmer there is no going back to any other kind, (exept CH trimmer and Sinclair one being Wilson's direct copy) unmached in precision.

Holy trimmer batman! For anyone thinking they're interested in a new trimmer I have to recommend this one without question. Maybe its just the new gear but I feel like blasting a pile of bulk 223 just to use it some more...
