Re..45 LC and .410ga

Will any pistol that is meant to fire .45LC be able to fire a .410ga shell..I take it that it would have to be the 2.5 in 410..but am unsure as I have never seen a 45LC/

I say "no" because the chamber is not 2.5" in length. What your thinking of doing is like trying to shoot a 357 mag shell in a 38 special chambered gun.

45LC & 454 casull will also fire in a 460s&w chamber but NOT the other way around.

45LC & 454 casull will also fire in a 460s&w chamber but NOT the other way around.

There are a few firearms marketed to fire both 45LC & .410. Rossi Circuit Judge is a prime example. These wheel guns have long cylinders to accommodate the shotgun cartridge. There are single shot rifles on the market that take both 45LC and 410 as well like the Rossi R45.
