Good shotgun Scabbard?

Hey all.

I am looking for info on what you use for wilderness carry. Is a scabbard the best choice? Which ones do you use and where did you get them?

Eberlestock is hard to beat. I use the GunRunner with hydration bladder for day trips when yote hunting big acreage on foot.

I picked up the Gunrunner off ebay but you can order them from Eberlestock's website.
 
x2 for Eberlestock. Hands down the best pack I've ever used. I bought the Gunslinger2 with a 3 litre hydration bladder and shotgun scabbard a couple years ago and love it.
 
Why did you guys have to recommend that? I'm going to have to buy one now!

Question is, which one? I don't want to spend $400 on a pack at this point. There are a few fairly reasonable priced packs. I won't be hunting, but a pack that can hold clothes, food for a few days plus a gun would be amazing. The JustOne sounds pretty good, as does the gunruner, but it seems a little small.

*Edit.* Gunslinger looks good to me....

I own the Mini Me with a bladder and scabbard. Makes an awesome walking companion, puts my HP-9 nice and close to hand. The Gunrunner looks like a very nice light overnight capapble pack, I've been thinking about it myself. I haven't checked pricing around too much but Warriors and Wonders has the Gunrunner in stock right now(or at least last night when I was drooling they did).

You can buy them directly from Eberlestock.
 
And there is this one too...designed for breachers etc.. not integral to a pack but looks like it could be made to work easy enough.

I have a Gunslinger 2 pack with the side scabbard. My 870 did not fit with a side saddle shell holder so I modded it with a double width of 1000 cordura along the top in this picture.

Now it's easy in/out and slides in so the saddle is inside the scabbard
