Good day for me. Bad day for a Coyote

Here is the Amplifier, It uses one 9v battery, I modded mine to use six AA battery's, for longer run times and it sounds better with more amperage feeding the amplifier i think

Here is a horn Speaker that would work good, I can not find the one that i have. It was part of a a Phantom predator call. but the electronics on it sucked. Go with a horn speaker 25w or lower. So you dont over draw the little amplifire

Hope this info helps you.

That caller is very much like the one I built. Some info and calling sounds here ht tp://www.varmintal.com/coy5-20.htm I have since moved to a FoxPro FX5 so if anyone wants an amplifier send me a PM and we can work something out.

killing animals for no reason is bad.
hunt what you eat. dont kill what you dont eat.

In Ontario anyway, there's a bounty for coyotes, that's a reason- they kill livestock, mess with deer and elk populations, they're getting into more urban areas and even attacking domestic animals now too.

That's not no reason. That's protecting the balance of nature. We're responsible for upsetting the balance, so we're responsible for restoring it.

Kryogen,
I hunt coyotes to stop them from slaughtering all the fawns. I am also indirectly helping out the Turkey Vulture population:D

Got this one on the second stand of the day. It came in slow and cautious. I was trying to get it in closer but it would not budge at 175 yards so down she went. Watching it come in for that long really builds up the adrenalin and i really had to take my time on the shot ha ha!!

Here is a picture of the first stand.

You sir are misguided misinformed and absolutely ignorant and are showing a total lack of understanding of how humans need to manage wildlife so it doesn't get wildly out of balance.

In fact what are you doing on a gun site? Do you know what guns were originally designed for?

If you can't handle the gore, the cold bloded killing the terror, then stick to good house keeping for vegans.

Ya the dirty side is'nt for the guys with a weak stomach..I got one the other day with a .270 with 150 grain bullets, and the exit wound was the size of a fist. I usually use some light reloads with 100 gr bullets, but I forgot that ammo, but since I had some 150 gr factory loads left in a spare mag, that was in the buttstock zippered pocket, I decided to use that instead of driving back home for my other ammo.

Too bad here in Canada, we can't use ARs for hunting....or atleast post the pics on the internet of us using them for hunting....lol

I have been keeping my pictures clean, I could show you the dirty side of the kills. ha ha

Yeah, careful Clayne_b.....you might upset someones tummy. :) I hear you though...there are 2 sides to every "story." :) I've yet to put a coyote down, but I hunt groundhogs all summer long. I also take a photo of both sides, and take a mental note of where I think I hit it (not always obvious) the damage, etc. I share the "clean" photos with my hunting buddies, nothing else.

BTW, I had asked, in an earlier post, how you find that .204 is shooting. Have you had it to the range? Looks like it's doing the job in field conditions, just wondered how it's printing on paper. I've always been intrigued by the .204, and am trying to talk myself out of testing a .17 Hornet when Savage finally gets them here.

The only time i have shot paper was when i sighted it in... I will have to shoot some paper to see. I fell on my gun the other day while hiking down a hill. later that day i shot a coyote so i think its still good. ha ha But i have been wanting to check it. When i do i will shoot some groups with it
