Now HERE is a 375!

I'd like to thank Barret from ARMA-COAT FIREARM FINISHES for the fine service and Nitron coating.

Very pleased! :)

Just got this back this week after getting the Nitron coating to match the stainless to the blued receiver and sights. Matches the Leupold and NECG sights perfectly.

Just in time for moose season! :)

Sweet Rifle, I liked the way it looked, particularly the black front site on the stainless barrel.

I was just sayign to my buddy "I wonder who the necroposting bastage is that brought this one back".

Well done sir.:D

That's a proper and functional rifle you got there SC. I'm still torn between the bright
barrel and black sights and the all black though. Still, it's a great build.
You can see my delema.;)
My .45 ACP Enfield build.

Looks good, hope you pull the trigger on another moose...

Should have saved your money and bought a real stock instead of that plywood monstrosity :p
That stock and Decelerator pad were very generously given to me, free of charge, by Kim Jepsen (Pickles) and was perfect for my needs and this rifle.

Irregardless of how I acquired it, I am esp. pleased with this stock overall and would use another the same for a similar project.

Look forward to seeing it at the range- sweet looking build!

Cool little rifle! I didn't mind the mixed stainless/blued look that much. Just got it done on a whim.

I hope you fill the freezer this season with that .375! Denis has built a lot of
first class rifles over the years and is the "go to smith" in our neck of the woods for
rifles that perform. He does'nt like Savage rifles though.
Congrats on a super rifle! ;)

Nice utilitarian rifle there SuperCub, well thought out and executed, very nice.
You can thank Ted Wagner for turning me onto 375s over 15 years ago.

Like I really needed one here in NB, but I did enjoy using it in your neck of the woods two years ago and another in 1998.

SuperCub, what did you do to finish the stock on this rifle? It looks great! Did the Nitron finish change the feel of the action at all?

I've been a .375 fan for much longer than that, but the son of a gun got me onto the 9.3X62!! I was thinking Ted was a pretty good salesman, but now I realize he's a much better angler. Choose the correct bait, a bit of teasing; Now! set the hook, and gently real him in. Oh well, at least I'm in good company on his stringer.

IMHO a huge improvement in asthetics, (but the bolt should be in the white,).
Well set up sight and scope wise and surley an excellent chambering, practical and just a bit different. Well done!
