price check FN FAL C1A1

I paid $1400 for mine, I PM'ed the CGN'er (I was the 2nd one looking at it according to the posts) and when he got back to me he said there was about 9 "I'll take it" right after me. Yep it sucks you cannot take it to the range (sits with my 11 other FN's) but there is a very limited number of C1A1's in the country so price depends on how bad you want one. I do remember when I thought $600 for a C1A1 was outrageous (but I also got a Indian 1A1 for $99 and an Aussie L1A1 for $200)
 
$1400 seems to be a common price. I have seen $1100, but nothing under $1000. There is a premium on C1's because they are Canadian and not as many out there as there are Indian 1A1s and various L1A1s.
 
I paid $500 to rescue a C1A1 (Ex OPP), and have one of the $200 Brits, the $99 Indians and about $500 for the Aussie I picked up too.

I would have trouble asking (or paying) a grand for one of them.
