If these things shoot like a T-3 and about half the price, Ruger will sell a pile of them. Nothing wrong with walnut and all that but for most hunters it isn't a fashion show.

I like the new Winchesters and Mark Vs as much as the Rems, all very well made and accuate. The 770 isn't REALLY a Reminton, it's an abomination, never to be spoken of again. It is the pedophile of the rifle world.
If Rem was smart they would bring back the 788 as their budget minded rifle.
