M193/M855A1 in a mini14?

I have been using 55 grain flat bottom reloads produced by a fellow club member in my mini 14. Accuracy is about what you'd expect from it.

I do however have the opportunity to buy bulk containers of M193 or M855A1 at a very good price. Anybody have any experience with either of those in a mini?

I've shot tons of the 55 gr stuff, very nice. The 62 gr, not so accurate. Wrong twist in the barrel. Enjoy!

I have found the opposite is true with my Mini - a 580 model. It shoots the 64 grainers much tighter then the 55's.

Guess I have to scrounge a handful of both and see what it likes...anybody ever try 50 grain'ers?
