If you ask me, protecting members from scammers is THE most important thing of the site. That was my reason for joining the mod fold. I was sick of not being able to do anything about it.

Sorry, but Wrong Way is right. If people are getting soaked and not leaving the appropriate feedback and/or reporting it to mods, then the trader rating system is of no value. Don't be so f*cking lazy and leave feedback.

As much as I dislike being ripped off, this individual hasn't committed a crime yet, nor is fraud something deserving of incarceration, atleast on this level.

Actually he has committed a crime. If one sets in motion a fraudulent act it doesn't actually have to dupe a victim for it to have been a crime.

IE: trying to intentionally cash a fake cheque at a bank but the teller doesn't fall for it = fraud charge.

Trying to sell fake guns on the EE is the same. Just because no one fell for it, it is still a fraud.
