Left target, is she a shoot? Hope so, looks like and ex girlfrind from years ago. Then again, she might look like the middle one by now!

I just looked through all 148 posts. Unless I missed it are we only having two divisions and if so what are they? By looking at your website just having a bipod on my precision rifle puts me in Open. Just want to figure out exactly what combination of guns I am bringing.

Yes, there are just 2 divisions....this is based on the prizes I was able to secure.
The 2 divisions will be:

Tactical Irons
&
Tactical Limited/Scopes (there are no unreasonable long shots, so it shouldn't be an issue)

This should also answer your shotgun question as well!

Next year, I hope to expand the match to morr divisions= more prizes...need to get more sponser on board. I am surprised how many businesses I contact that won't even give a simple yes or no reply back.

Good thing I asked the question or I wouldn't have been able to shoot any of those divisions with what I was bringing. Sorry one more question, my barrel on the shotgun I plan on bringing isn't ported but the breacher on the barrel has holes in it. Would that be considered porting??

Pretty sure the answer is yes (covered in other threads for other matches).

Chances are it's cylinder bore so you're going to want to think about a different choke anyway. Any medium to long shots on clays or steel and you may have problems. Go with a modified choke if you can. At some point you'll likely have to shoot slugs on the same stage as birdshot so a full choke is a bad idea.

Yeah I have been there before with heavy plates. Even happened on the Texas Star at EESA recently. 6 shot still does the trick even with cylinder bore. Regardless, i still use a tighter choke now. This breacher choke is actually a modified choke as well. I will remove it regardless and put another modified or IC choke in. Kind of silly though as the holes in the breacher in no way help with recoil as far as I am concerned.

I assume that since all the divisions on your rule set page except the Open division state that no modifications that change the outside appearance of the handgun are permitted, you cannot even have a mag well on your handgun? Even a small one? :)

I don't think the divisions in the rule set are being used for this match.

As 7.62mm said above, there are only two divisions and it seems to only follow the optic on the rifle.

So does that mean I can run anything that would normally be in the Open division as long as I don't use a red dot or scope on anything?

Why are you guys so bound and determined to turn this into an ipsc match? Do you really want me to make a rule set that goes into minute detail of what can be and can't be used......or is it that you want to have a 100 different divisions that you will fit into with your specific equipment.....
I have already stated that the 2 divisions will be
Irons.......and Tactical Optics/Scopes.....read the rules on our website for those 2 divisions, and fit yourselves in accordingly.
The magwell issue, I am still mulling over!
Sorry of this seems terse, but I am dealing with a medical issue right now....and my undivided attention is not on the match right now! I hope to have that resolved in the near future!
Thanks

The rules and divisions seem pretty clear on your website........

To me, if an item/equipment is not listed as prohibited for a selected division, it's good to go. You can't be changing rules 1 week before a match unless it's safety related. imho.
