Slings for Rifles that are not drilled

So, I've got a Henry Big Boy and love it, but it's a heavy gun and it would be nice to get a sling for it. Now, this rifle is not drilled with sling mounts and I would prefer not to have that done.

Are there any good sling options out there? I've seen the ones here:

But they are in the states, expensive and won't even get to the project until January.

Anyone have an alternative?

I have never done one, but I could probably make one. But I am not sure how much it would cost until I make one and figure out the time involved and materials cost.
