Norc m14 op rod

Check your stock, it sounds like it's not blocking the pin from sliding out. I had that problem with an aftermarket wooden stock, a shim and a little glue fixed it up.
 
Do you mean the op rod guide? Or the connector lock pin? If you mean the connector lock I would inquire if you have put the barreled action into a USGI stock? If you have,the original Norc pin is too short and you need to get a USGI length pin... or just go back to the old stock.
 
Lots of info here but all you need is a piece of popsicle stick and glue it on the right side of the stock so the pin won't drift out. Like Dakota says sounds like you have a GI stock. Real easy fix.

Bingo!! i didnt say thats what i had done just to see if was was a common problem an so everyone didnt jump to conclusions,i suspected it had somthing to do with that.... ill never go back to the org stock i dont care wat problems need to be solved ..... by the way Thanks everyone

Right on...the GI walnut is a big improvement in my opinion :)
