Norinco M4 Quality?

Hey, Im looking to get an AR typer firearm but really am not sure what to get I was looking for a little lower in price not jumping into $3500 rifles just yet.

What does everyone think of the Norinco M4?

Use the serach function and set the time back a year or so.

Most reviews I read, the people were pleased with the rifle.

They are ok, the finish is a bit rough.

For $400, you can get an American make Ar15 like Core15:

just get a nork m4 and the rest of the money get ammo .they are the best bang for the buck in the ar world.

Get the nork and dont look back ,they go Bang over and over again just like a $1000+ rifle dose

Had 1 complete Norc and 1 upper that I put on an Armalite lower - ZERO issues.

just make sure you stake or lock tite the castle nut on your norinco...

mine finally came off and I almost lost the pin spring...

also... is my nork the only one with the birdcage on crooked?


shoots well though, no issues with accuracy, and even when the castle nut and backing plate were coming off, it still shot... didnt notice the issue till I put it on the rack

for 700$.... its better then a core or armalite... they wont do anything it cant.

Great rifle. Accurate, no problems. As others have noted the finish is rough. I sandblasted mine and then Duracoated it Colt Gray. Looks fantastic as well as shooting fantastic. It's a great rifle to tinker with and improve. Can't go wrong with the price either.

The Norinco M4 is an awesome deal for $699!!! Zero issues with the two we own... (Other than my wife putting pink furniture on hers... BUT, it is the greatest shooting sports ambassador! Everyone wants to shoot it at the range!!!)

They seem to be a great starter AR, and the price is certainly hard to beat. I'm not a big fan of the finish, quality or tolerances - but again, for the money...

and for what its worth, you shooting skill will matter 1000x more then the gun you buy...

I compete against plenty of noveskes, lmts, stags, ect ect and dont feel like the norinco is holding me back at all...
