What makings do you have on you norks , whats the newest ? how do you find out when it was made etc...

On mine one side says "CQ-A-1" under that "cal 5.56mm" and then serial # "00####-11" NO logo ,nothing
On the other side " imported by Lever arms"
anyone else have that ?

Hmmmm, very interesting - I wasn't aware that Lever had continued to import these after NS started to bring them in. Lever Arms these days tends to bring stuff in and once the early market is satisfied, and competition developes, they move on. I'll have to look into that, as these almost certainly come from a different factory than the NS guns. My suspicion is that the Lever Guns come from an export mil production plant and the NS guns come from a 'commercial' (yes I know, there's no such thing in China) plant.

Bought mine end-Feb this year from Lever, markings as followed;

CQ triangle logo

CN-CQ-A1 5.56mm

00####-10

SEMI-AUTO RIFLE

Also no serial under the bulge.

As far as lever goes, I think they unlike everything else they sell (firearms wise) the CQ-M4 are somewhat consistent in sales. A lot of times I have gone in there and they had 1 left or just sold the last one, then not too long after they get some in. I would say keep bringing them in if they are going to sell.

An interesting thing I noticed today is that for the longest time they were selling them "on sale" at $679.00 or something close and today I noticed on the website they are back to the regular $699.00.
