OMG I'm can't stand the wait

Back in the beginning of June i bought my first gun, a SIG P226 EE. It's coming from the US and it's still not here. It is getting really close though and i'm expecting it end of the month/beginning of October. I've slowly been buying things so i can shoot it. Yesterday i got a shipment of 3000 rounds of .40 S&W and its sitting in my closet and now I've got an itch i can't scratch. i just wanted you all to know my pain.

Ha I feel your pain, I've been sitting on my glock 17 for months waiting to complete probation at my club and then for them to apply for my att, next Monday I go full member and then they apply so I hope the gov is working overtime next week to get mine processed ;)

I'm waiting for my club to run a course to get an ATT for restricted firearms :( until then I can only shoot my non-restricted firearms.

Bought a 1911 today and was eyeing up an AR15 :D damn that paperwork holding me back.
 
Sometimes I feel like I am in a different country. My last club membership was a 5 minute "here's the money" transaction, including a "are you holster approved?". Yup, here's why..

The most recent ATT was literally 3 hours... only 'cause I wasn't in a hurry.

Why the huge disparity? Not that I am complaining...
 
ya i don't understand why they have to go through all that crap to get their ATT's
i purchased a membership in BC recently and called the CFO to get a BC LATT
the nice lady on the phone said to me
well you already have a AB LATT so email me a photo of your membership and i will amend your LATT there is no need to contact the BC CFO 2 minutes later i had my new ATT for BC and Alberta in my inbox of my email done and done
the whole thing to about 5 minutes
i think this is how it should be for everyone no matter what province your in
 
Because of the Ontario CFO!!

ATT's are very different in Ontario, and are applied for by the club, only after jumping through a bunch of hoops.

And one of our own, "Cyclone" is actually challenging the CFO on this in court next week I believe. So stay tuned.........
 
Sucks for you guys in Ontario, my updated LATT is automatically emailed to me with any new restricted purchase. I usually get it while my firearm is in the mail.

Same deal with me. I have a Glock 22 though. :D Waiting on a 40 to 9 barrel aswell.
 
I already have my range membership and have had it since June. Once my gun is registered in Canada ill call for my ltatt so I'm not too worried about that. At least you guys can play with your guns and clean them. I can only dream.

Gray Guns

Wasn't in too much of a hurry before. Didn't have my PAL yet so i had lots of time...now i have my rPAL, my eye and ear pro, my ammo...it's just about the last thing now :(
