I have a Winchester 1894, the gun is really nice , the only thing that bugs me is cycling the action, its a bit tough, I want to slick up some parts so I can cycle the gun smoother and faster, I dont wanna spend a tone on it, Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

I've heard that Slick 50 will slicken! ;)
I think a real good cleaning and a little light lube should do the trick on a good old pre '64 94.

Disassemble it, there are lots of vids on the Internet. I saw one that was great by Down East Gunworks, IIRC.
Polish up your breechbolt a bit if you like, and the bolt raceways in the receiver. You can also lightly touch up your trigger, sear and hammer notch; just make sure there are no burrs or tool marks, don't remove a bunch of metal. Really, just a good cleaning/lube helps lots, as some posters indicated.
A couple accuracy tips as well, are to polish the inside of the forward barrel band and to slightly enlarge the hole between the barrel and mag tube where the aft barrel band screw goes through.
