What would you buy....G19, P2000, or PPQ Navy.

I have both a G19 and HK P2000, but prefer the P2000. The adjustable grips are nice, the trigger is fantastic and it's just plain dependable. You can also run the .40S&W magazines flawlessly in it (13 rounds = win). The only two aspects I don't like are the magazine release and higher muzzle recoil. There are also 5 variants of the P2000, and I believe you want the third one (SA/DA).
I've shot all 3.
Glock 19 is solid, reliable, easy to get spare parts for. Out of the box, it needs metal sights. The Gen 4 also fits a wider range of hands than older Glocks. In my hands, combat accurate. Very slim and size efficient. Low bore axis. Feeds all ammo, even wimpy civilian bulk ammo at 115 grains.
HK P2000, I like the LEM version for consistent trigger pull. The V1 LEM is like a single action trigger with long takeup. As reliable and tough as the Glock. In my experience, more accurate than the Glock. Parts are available if you order through Wolverine Supplies...takes a while to get them. However most people change springs on these guns every 20 - 25K rounds. Until it's broken in, may have a few bobbles with wimpy civilian bulk 115 gr. No problems with 124 or 147 gr. Once spring is broken in, runs with 115 gr just fine. Compact size...13 rounds in regular capacity magazines. .40 mags hold 12 9mm.
PPQ Navy. Exquisitely accurate, like the P99. Parts have to be ordered in. Very nice trigger and grip feel. During first 500 rounds, you need good ammo while it breaks in (same with HK which was designed for 9mm NATO velocities). More accurate that the P2000. Easily matches or exceeds HK P30 in accuracy. Long threaded barrel, but in Canada, not an issue.
I have the most experience with the P2000 and the PPQ still easily outshot it in my hands.

gen4 g19 is the way to go, nice sticky texture grip and with nightsights you have a good sight picture, gun you can work on yourself, lots of parts available, lots of sight tool and variety of sights available.
factory magazines are easy to find, and inexpensive.... lots of holster choices and conventional controls.
having owned the p2000, and currently owning all of the 9mm glocks (G17L,G17 Gen3, G17 Gen4, G34 Gen4, G19 Gen2, G26 Gen4 + G21 Gen4, G21SF Gen3) I am a BIG glock fan so my advice may vary....
the one thing that irked me with both the P2000 and the USP was the paddle style magazine release, shooting *DPA it was always a bit of a struggle to release the magazine and yet at other times it would seem to get pushed down on it own, but each to thier own and you have to try it to get the feel for it.... me I would rather push a button then have to push down on the paddle. (as an aside the USP and P2000 are ambi all the time)
now one of the great things for the gen4 glocks is the adjustable backstraps, frankly I use mine without any backstrap.... but also the magazine release is enlarged and ambi so you can put it on either side (as long as you use gen4 mags).
my money would be on the glock... but you have to try both

if your going to buy one get the gen4 gun.... the sticky grip is well worth the extra expense, even if you have no use for the backstraps like me you will thank yourself for the texture.

Actually, my preference is the Steyr M9-A1 - which has replaced my Glock 19. Sine it wasn't in the list I opted for the HK P2000 (unfortunately I know little or nothing of the PPQ Navy). One reason I like the HK P2000 is that it reliably uses the .40S&W magazines (13 rounds = win). My understanding is the Glock 19 is more finicky when using the .40's.
As it turned out my wife had a chance to try the HK P2000 and fell in love with it, so it's now her handgun (she prefers it over the G19 and G26). I haven't tried a Glock 19 Gen 4, but the Gen4's are apparently much nicer. I've somewhat lost my Glock 'enthusiasm' in the quest for a better 9mm, so if it came down to the PPQ or G19 I'd probably say get the PPQ (if not the HK P2000).
If at all possible, try to handle all 3. If you hate the grip or any of the functionality that's usually a tell-tale sign.

for the most part that makes no change in my decision because most of the games i play your limited to 10 + 1 anyway.... IPSC/IDPA and 3gun. Sure for a "fun" gun but frankly the fudd factor when using it a public range would discourage me from loading 13+1.
and if the zompocolypse ever happens you would just be drilling out pop rivets anyway for a full 15+1.

I agree - it's very much personal preference and what your shooting requirements are. Zompocolypse or NDP Government...

well in canada you pretty much stuck with factory glock, trijicon, meprolight or truglo... I usually buy the factory glock ones because questar has them in stock, dstactical has trijicons and the others are hit or miss.
my next set will be the trijicon HD models... Heiine is my favorite, but the trijicons have always been reliable, as have the factory glock sights. Wantsall has had the HD in stock in the past and I am sure DSTactical or Police Ord can get them in if you order them.
meprolight and truglo are not my favorites... thats all i have to say about that.
when installing the trijicons or factory glocks sights the trijicon tool is a must because the factory glock sight tool will break since those sights are so tight, shoot me a pm on here or facebook and I will mail it down to you... otherwise police ord. has them for $100.
I leave my connectors and springs stock at the 5.5# pull so no changes there, but I do add the extended slide release and an extended magazine release to gen2/3 guns with the mag realease slightly rounded at the back (take off sharp corners basically) (vickers tactical makes a perfect extended mag release/slide release... ) I just have factory glock parts but if available get the vickers stuff.

I voted for the PPQ Navy.
I've owned both a G19 and a P2000.
I wouldn't buy a Gen 4 Glock 19, not yet anyway. If they were as reliable as the Gen 3 it would have probably gotten my nod.
The P2000 was the most reliable pistol I've ever owned. But the DA/SA trigger is a huge detraction. I've never tired the LEM trigger, if I had, maybe I'd still own one.
The amount of praise the PPQ is getting is very promising. Larry Vickers has some very good things to say about it. I chose it for this reason, but time will tell if it holds up under higher round counts.
That being said, if I had to carry the pistol for any other reason other than blasting paper targets, and I had to choose between current production G19, P2000 ,and PPQ, the P2000 would be the one I would choose, without hesitation.

I agree with Clobbersauras. I have taken a P2000 to several intense training courses and the gun runs under adverse conditions reliably. The light LEM trigger we get in Canada is a crisp under 5 lb trigger that feels like a crisp single action pull once the very light takeup is passed. Reset is long compared to PPQ or G19 however.
I'm interested to see how the PPQ holds up. I like it over the P99 as it has metal sights out of the box. Walther forums has step by step pictorials on how to detail strip the frame for parts replacement too!!
I wish the Glock was more accurate in my hands, for size efficiency it beats the P2000 and Walther as you get 15 rounds in a very small package. The availability of parts means it wouldn't require calling Wolverine and ordering a bunch of small parts and 20 recoil springs at a time too!!!
