Where can I get a choke for a Remington wingmaster?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a choke for a remington wingmaster 870. It is missing the tip. It is an adjustable choke....the thread is already on the end of the barrel.

I looked everywhere and I had no luck finding one.

Anyone know what I'm talking about or where I can find the part?

A picture of the end of your barrel would be a huge help here. Guessing it doesn't sound to me that you need a choke but more like an adjusting collar.
Back in the day these adjustable chokes were solder fitted and most called them poly choke since they were the largest supplier but there were also others and the parts will not interchange. If you have the inside of a poly choke I would contact them and they will sell you what you need, if you find one used make sure it is out of a 12ga assuming yours is 12 since they are different. If yours is just the threads the adjusting cone has been cut off which was also common and your end is trash meaning it would be cheaper to buy an express barrel with rem chokes than have yours fitted with tubes or a new poly installed if anyone even still does that work..

Thank you so much...that is exactly what I was looking for. My barrel looks just like what you showed in the picture.

Does anyone know where I could buy just the adjusting collar? New or used doesn't matter.
 
I may have one laying in a box from 20 years ago, not sure i kept it but dont recall getting rid of it, when i am back from overseas, i will look and if i have it i will give it to you.... JP.

You are lucky the entire end is still there many were cut off leaving just the threads. I bought two complete off the EE in the past year $25-35 normally will get you a complete one. I installed both I bought so cannot help. If you cannot wait for the member to get back I would run an add on the EE.
Just make sure you check the dimensions since there are more 16ga ones kicking around it seems and most guys think they are 12. Good Luck;)
