Hi All, I was at the gun show in Montreal today and this guy was selling a box of 50 CCI Blazers for 2 bucks. Yea ok so I bought them. Got home and they look like a Hollow Point type but no clue what company. They have somewhat of a copper top on them , and a "1v1" on the bottom or "I V I" but I am sure they are not Blazers. Any clue ?

Could be IVI Imperial .22 LR rimfire in a CCI box. Company was based out of Quebec in the early 80's.

CCI Blazer lot #00021 are 40G RN

Yes I'm sure it's safe to shoot, especially since it doesn't look that old and is in good shape... maybe put aside a few for posterity if you like - IVI/Imperial is old Canadian made stuff and not around anymore.

i was at this show too. a lot of nice stuff but everyone seems to sell more expensive then the real value. exemple: a henry mere's leg for 475$. new at the store it's around 325$.

Thats typical of gunshows, there are few if any deals to be had nowadays. They price gouge because so many people that go to gunshows know no better and get bent over not realizing how much extra theyre paying.
