Take the hunter's CORE course, you are poaching if you hunt anything without your license. Poaching is illegal, you will get fined and or go to jail.
Don't risk it, help keep our lands sustainable, and pay your dues to get the license.
Just because you are on crown land/camping or anywhere else in Canada does not put you above the law. See the guy teaching your PAL course in the parking lot of canadian tire for more info.

this OP appears to be asking questions that appear to contrary to the laws of the land and somehow justify his/her ability to type instead of read regulations that are readily avialable to answer their queries and brings me to beleive there is such thing as a stupid question, augh??!!

ADHDCanuck~the optimist in my would like to think your thread starter about "What can I kill" was simply phrased poorly...and that you meant to ask about hunting. Unlike some others here, I'm not too worried that you asked a hunting question in the rimfire forum...as I assume people here are all rimfire-minded.
If you have a valid/non-expired PAL, why don't you do yourself a huge favor...take a 2 day hunting course. In that setting, you'll get plenty of opportunities to ask questions w/o having people make smarmy remarks to jack-up their own egos. Like I suggested earlier, I like to assume people are well-meaning until they prove otherwise and I think you just asked the question the wrong way. A really wrong way. Yes, animals get killed in the act of hunting, but you don't say "I'm going killing this weekend". You'll draw allot of negative attention to yourself, and rightfully so.

.22LRGUY, your post is mature and polite. You, unlike many of the posters here, are giving this guy the benefit of the doubt...a mature, thoughtful approach. I hope that you are correct in your assessment...but after reading this and other threads started by this poster, I think you are wasting your time and your courtesy on him.
