I was so happy with the 4 I got from TSE I'd like to know where I can find some more. Anywhere in Canada is good, I love Canada Post. (Who would have thought that?)

I was recomended to Wilson Combats for my Kimber over the Kimpro ones.
The Wilson Combat 47D is a great magazine but I have heard through various forums that sometimes the 8th round hangs up in Kimbers. I've got 4 KimPros for my Tactical Custom II that are silky smooth and want another half dozen.

bumpers

Who runs their kimpros with or without the bumpers. What exactly are the advantages of using them or and disadvantages to not using them. I like the flush fit and have been running my STI without them.

New to pistols so just curious.

Thanks

Wow this thread is a couple of years old! To answer your question some people use bumpers on the bottom of their mags to assist in fast mag changes during competition such as IPSC, IDPA etc.. When you insert a mag with a bumper it overtravels and gives a more positive feel when the mag locks in place.

Or if you have an extended flaired mag well adapter installed, they are necessary to ensure an extended or flush fit with the bottom of the flaired mag well.
