Just wondering what holds the gas selector in place?
If I don't tighten the plug up snug I can turn the selector with my thumb and forefinger. What is the correct way to re-assemble the gas system?

You are supposed to snug up the gas piston. It clamps the regulator in place.

Its the gas tube that hold the regulator securely. The gas tube must be very tight, not to strip the threads but very tight otherwise will loosen easily while shooting.
