Right now I am using a Bushnell 4x12 on my .204 (coyote gun) I was shooting it at 500 yards yesterday with very good results. I was just holding over since the turrets on the scope are JUNK. I was looking into the SS MRAD 6x for my .204 I have the 16x on my competition .22lr and love it.

So what do you think of using a fixed 6x scope. (went back today and shot 440 yards on 6x to see if I could see the target. took one shot sitting with my tall bipod. 1st round hit)

I am open to other suggestions.

Here is the link to the scope i want

If you look at the reticle it has half mil hashes and i really like for taking quick longer shots

If you want a heavy duty fixed 6. Look at the Leupold FX3 6X42. I have one with a Mark 4 tactical turret on the elevation, and its the cats ass. It also has a Long Range duplex for when you dont have time spin turrets.

Clayne b; Seriously consider that excellent 6x42 Leupold.
I have a half dozen on various hunting rifles, and they are hard to beat.
Rugged, light, clear and bright.
I shot a deer 3 years ago at a ranged 602 yards with just those optics on a 270 Winchester.
Not much of a handicap, the fixed 6x, methinks!
