Finding an SR-22 on the shelf?

Does anyone know of a shop having a SR-22 in stock? I spent the weekend trying to track one down but I've had no luck. One shop even laughed at me for trying to find one... LOL

I know a couple have been listed on EE but I'm hoping to find one with out any modifications done yet.

I was looking for one a couple months ago and was told at numerous shops around town that Ruger is extreamly back ordered on the SR22 so it would be quite a while before they expected more in. Of course I'm sure the odd one shows up once in a while but after 5 different stores telling me pretty much the same thing I ended up finding a Ruger 10/22 and modified that.
 
local shop right here in Abbotsford has one on the shelf, I was holding it just yesterday. His retail on it is totally out of whack but you never know if you tried contacting him with cash in hand maybe you could make a deal.
 
Oops I guess mentioning the store might be a help lol thanks mrpeeb that's the one. When I bought my vleh they came down enough that driving out of town wasn't worth it so it's worth a shot. I'm working on the on of the guys cars tomorrow so I'll see what I can swing for you
 
Is the sr22 that much better than the mossberg 715t? Have been thinking of getting a tactical .22 just haven't read much about them yet.
 
Yeah definitely been having issues locating a SR22.

Online vendors seem sold out

I called Shooting Edge and they said they had some coming in but it starts at 629
