Wich AR15 parts do you keep at home ??

i bought a norc itll last forever and ever i dont need any spare parts

As someone who saw a firing pin retaining pin essentially borked in the middle of a competition with my Norc CQA I would advise you to not wait for that inevitable time to have replacements :)

I recommend a set of trigger pins or use anti walk pins. A friend had his go into 2 or 3 round bursts due to a walking pin.

Yea I'd get that checked out... he may need to replace his disconnector, or just install his pins properly. They're designed to be held together if installed properly... shouldn't walk

I was going to confess my love for you, but that product has been discontinued. I see what you did there.

Nevertheless, I now see that there are alternative packages.
Hmm, I need to keep my order under $100 or the leprechauns will eat my package won't they?

I have 2 complete BCG, 6 firing pins, 2 complete lpk all Colt parts. Basically I could build
two more complete colts If I had a bbl and lower. That gets me thinking!!

Really? Gas rings wear out as do recoil/return springs and extractors. I keep spare parts more to save time than anything. Finding spare parts and/or sending a broken gun for repair takes a lifetime. Spare parts keeps that downtime to a minimum and a spare gun makes it non existent.;)

I suspect you put substantially more rounds downrange than me... I have a spare set of extractors and an extra spring; gas rings are something I hadn't thought of. I've got enough magazines kicking around to cannibalize for parts, so I'm covered there.

I shoot fair bit, but I also hate not having the parts available to solve simple problems, like gas rings. No doubt, spare parts add up in value and are tough to justify when they spend most of their life sitting in the tool box.

Some dealers have higher limit export permits in place with Brownell. That's how I got the kit earlier this year.

There is a seventy dollar kit on brownells that will do nicely. Care to share your dealer?

I dealt with Williams Arms in Port Perry, ON. Since you're in Alberta it may be advantageous for you to see if a local dealer can do a similar order for you, but Williams will ship anywhere if you can't find one.
