My Non-Restricted ACR (Custom Herron Arms)

Wow, I'm really impressed. I regret selling my NR ACR, and I may be tempted to try one out again with Herron.

What I would really like is an accurized NR Tavor with a trigger job. If Ian could build a sub-moa Tavor with a SS barrel and figure out how to jing the trigger a bit, I'm sure he could make a killing. A Tavor precision package would be awesome!

I think people seriously need to stop having so many good ideas on Gunnutz. Its going to start doing lethal damage to my bank account.

With the internals of the Tavor the way they are, it would take some serious research into getting a trigger job done. Of course, I'd be first in line for that if it did come out and since I kind of know Ian now I'm hoping for some of the first dibs :D

Some guy also asked if there were any problems with the ACR like the Questar barrel. There are none. I couldn't be happier!

Good to know the new NR barreal works fine
Maybe it's time to pick up a ACR from EE
but too bad I just recently brought a Tavor already
so I got to wait sometime before doing that. Try not to freak out the wife
by buying too many black refile lol

My life is about to get more expensive, thanks a lot. Stupid competent gunsmiths. Why can't you just be like every other gunsmith, and take 8 months to do a terrible job? At least that way I wouldn't be so tempted to do this to my ACR.

Because we like to cater to our clients I can take your money and make you wait 8 months if you like, i can also bend your barrel so it doesn't shoot straight but that will cost extra

I'm glad you sold it. It killed a lot of gophers this summer. Love the rifle.

Man i cant wait you (herron arms) have my ACR, at the moment, and i got the identical version, and colour. finished should just look the exact same hopfully:) at least now i can show my friends what my gun will look like.

How much of a hassle is it to ship the restricted rifle ? Is there paper work or permits that have to be filled out? Great looking rifle by the way!

Thanks! It is a bit of a hassle, you TECHNICALLY need an ATT from your house to your post office. Or, you could just get the gunshop to ship it for you when you buy it as it should still be in their name and if a courier comes to pick it up it should be fine.

Where did all these people with ACRs get them from? I thought they were rare as I had to order mine in and now I've seen like 70 people from BC alone saying they have one. I guess it sells pretty well! Can't imagine how great the NR version will sell. I think I'll save my money for the ARX160 :D

And for those w/o RPAL's, Ian will take direct delivery of the ACR (Or Swiss, or FN F2000 or else) from the seller / shop you're buying it from and will handle all the non-restricted certification paperwork from there once its been converted.
