Just wondering if anyone has one or if anyone has made one? Not sure about the laws on cutting down barrels but am curious. Think this could be a neat idea for a back pack style shotgun instead of a side by side. I'm and over under fan

Cheers

i had a zoli apache model over under with twenty inch barrels . a pretty gun with fixed full and modified chokes . try the ee as i have seen the odd one .you can cut barrels down to eighteen inches on an over and under and be legal as long as total gun length is twenty six inches or more .i have a cut down browning citori over under with 21 inch barrels. it is a nice handling gun and a deer killer with slugs .it has sights that mount on the rib and is as accurate as the person who is holding it . and no it is not for sale .

The HS-12 has some poor features for a "home defense" shotgun.

Lack of ejectors, auto-safety, and the toe safety don't really fit with how they're marketing it.

God the mossberg is ugly haha. Like the stoeger a bit more but hmmmm maybe I can find an old sporting beretta on the ee and chop it. My beretta now stays away from the saw

I have one.

The toe safety is silly, but it only engages shooting some 2-3 feet away pointed down. I don't think anyone ever needs to shoot the floor that close.

I like it because its simple and comes apart in 3 pieces in about 5 seconds, each piece no longer than 19". OAL with 18.5" barrels is same as an 870 with 14" barrels. Throw it in a backpack or small duffel when going camping or whatever, put it back together in another 5seconds. Easy to port around. Doesn't do anything a pump can't do better, but its neat and fun in its own right.

Comes with fiber optic front and the top rail is grooved with a white post to sight it like a standard pistol type sight. Also has interchangeable chokes. lightweight. Compact. Simple. That is all. Our canadian versions don't seem to come with the front light rail but whatever.

Careful if you have big feet!

I don't really consider this a tactical shotgun by any means. Its a nice grouse gun and easy to tote around. I have pumps for serious duty regardless.

LOL.

I actually wanted one for fun and throwing in to the occasional stage at our 3 gun matches. It was the extractors that bothered me the most about it.

So whats wrong with this Gun other than that retarded looking rail?

Can you shoot 2 shots wihout pressing any buttons?

Extractors?

yah only extractors which is kinda stupid but meh.

Its single trigger so its one barrel at a time, receiver top switch can chose which barrel first.

The rail is to mount an optic which I don't even bother with.

If you want something similar, but less black look at teh stoegger condor outback. Practically the same deal, bit nicer finish, bit heavier, tad bit longer but essentially the same idea.

I have an HS-12 and like it a lot. It does have one significant difference then the stoeger and that is a barrel selector built into the safety. You can select if the upper or lower fires on the first pull which you cannot do on the stoeger. This was important for me as I have a 22lr chamber reducer that I wanted to run in in one of the barrels all the time and wanted to be able to select either the 12ga or 22. I actually have a 9mm adapter stored in the stock, and 4 other chamber reducers in a side saddle, so I can run just about anything through it if need be.
