I give up. . . No matter how hard I hit that pin I cannot get it to pop out. I got An SKS a little while ago and I've been trying to disassemble the bolt but that pin refuses to budge! I've looked up videos of ppl doing it on YouTube and it seems easy enough. Is there some trick I'm missing?

What tool are you using? You need a good steel punch and a good hammer. A wood block with a hole is useful, the hole is to make room so the pin get get out. Rest the bolt on the wood block and give the punch a sharp blow! No worries you wont break anything.

The bolt pin is a tight fit. Also, it is only meant to come out one way....you have to drive out by hitting the round end .... not the rectangular end with a proper size punch.
Also, you need to put it on a very sturdy base. It helps to put it on a piece of metal, like a vise. I place mine spanning the jaws of my vise .... opened up just enough so the pin has a place to fall once I get it moving.
Finally, if it hasn't been removed before and you have shot a lot of corrosive ammo, it might be a bit corroded. You could put some 'fluid film' or other penetrating oil to loosen it up a bit.
Keep trying.

Thanks guys, I'm doing it on a block of wood with a hole drilled in it, I guess I need to get a bigger hammer and beat it like it owes me money. :)

I used a 2.5 # ballpeen and whacked the snot out of it. If the bolt has gotten hot and then cooled the parts will be harder to get apart.

If you can't get it to go with a hammer, try this:
