I've tried a few different ways and I can't find a way I like... Anybody have ideas?
I've tried the factory sling.... I didnt like it. I didn't like how it ties on to the gun. Seems cheesy to me.
Dude: I've asked this question before!
On the rear, use paracord hooked into the sling, BUT insert the paracord on the right hand side of the buttstock if you're a right handed shooter.
I run it like that on my AR as well... By using it this way it actually keeps the sling perfectly out of your way. Because the rifle lays on it's left side vertically on your chest, and the buttstock end of the sling goes over your right shoulder, when you bring the rifle up it forces the sling to clear the buttpad.
However for TV-Press, if he's going to use my suggestion on the VCAS sling, he'll want to switch shoulders that the sling is slung over. Again this makes the rifle easier to use and doesn't hang as low on the body.
The Magpul MS3 is the sling to have, in combination with the rail attachment that allows you to turn a one point sling into a two point.
