Finished my 10/22 and I must say I'm pretty impressed, especially since I'm nowhere close to a great shooter.

Specs:
-Dlask Dar 22 receiver (black, with raised rail)
-Kidd Bolt (silver, scalloped finish)
-Kidd charging handle & recoil spring
-Kidd matched barrel (fluted & silver)
-Kidd two-stage trigger assembly (red curved trigger & extended mag release)
-Burris signature zee rings
-Bushnell Trophy XLT 6-24x50
-Americana laminated thumbhole stock
-Bipod

Range Report:
Makes me very happy to say I have a MOA 10/22 :) Hopefully I can practice and do even better.

How is the quality of that dlask Receiver? Im thinking about starting with that,did you mod an existing 10/22 or was this built from the ground up?

So far I'm very happy with the receiver, put about 1000 rounds so far without any issues. I went with the black finish which added an extra layer of paint and made fitting a little tight but not bad. The only modification I had to do was grind the paint off where the barrel slides in.

I originally bought the rifle used. The previous owner put on the stock, bipod, and a green mountain barrel. I swapped out the barrel then slowly everything else. It's no longer a Ruger :) Once you start upgrading parts, you can't stop. In hind sight I probably should have done everything from the ground up, but I was learning and this was my first rifle.

The stock is amazing, the cheek rest fits perfectly when I'm looking down the scope. Its also feels comfortable whether I'm using the thumbhole or resting my thumb on top.
 
dam, nice group. I have a tactical solutions barrel, and the best I can do is about 1" at 50y. I might have to upgrade my barrel (again) or learn to shoot! :D
 
Hi Magnum I have about the same build as you, I tried to install the barrel in the receiver, but it is very tight, I see you had to remove the paint on the receiver. Just wondering if you could let me know how you did it?

A friend of mine owns a machine shop so I took the receiver over and he used a pneumatic air grinder to take off the layer of paint.

I have started to collect parts for mine as well. Picked up a KIDD barrel, bolt, charging handle and two stage trigger, all from Fabsports. Now looking for a stock, but not sure what I'll do there. I think I'll stick with the Ruger receiver.

I want to get out to check Silverdale as well.

The Ruger receiver is fine as is. The only reason I replaced mine was for aesthetic reasons.

I needed to raise my scope for clearance with the barrel. Instead of buying a raised rail I decided to go with the dlask receiver with an integrated raised rail.
