So I've owned my 2007 Norinco for 2-3 years and haven't shot it up until this past weekend. I always wanted to wait to get the headspace checked but I went ahead and did something stupid...I shot it anyway. I loaded one round in the magazine and proceeded to chamber it, then VERY nervously pull the trigger. BAM! It worked (sort of). AND I was still alive!
It appears that I have a single shot M14 because it won't cycle/eject. I assume it's something to do with the gas system but I was hoping someone here would know what the problem is or had a similar issue in the past. I've read the .pdf from the M14 clinic and found no answers, nor was I successful in a search on here. Can anyone help?
It wasn't just a one time thing either. I tried a couple more times with a single round and got the same result.
