I have this overwhelming urge to buy one of these...

Overall do people here who have them like them? They look like a lot of fun. How reliable/durable are they?

TIA

I've had about ~50 shots down mine, anything from 2 3/4 shot to 3 inch slugs. Still nice and tight, seems tough. Some people complain the stock cracks after a few shots, but mine has been okay so far.

Had mine for 4 or so months, put 400 buckshot through it. Mostly 2 ¾. Hand full of 3".

At first it barely locked up it was so tight, it's perfect now. I fire both barrels at the same time on a regular basis. Wood on mine seems to hold up pretty good.

Say 10" groups at 8 to 10 meters.

My only issue with it is the left side hammer clicks before it cocks. I took the sear/ hammer apart and fixed it. But then it would over #### and the spring would go past where it should. So I filed it back to factory. Both trigger pulls feel within a half pound.

Overall for a $340 tax in brand new gun I'm happy.

That'd be me (unless there are more) but Frontier replaced it for me...you can read about that HERE if you like.

The second one has been solid. My first one also came with a dented muzzle.

Most of the other owners I've talked to also have the "one hammer clicks twice" thing. Side plates on both were loose, could use some loctite on the reciever screws. My first one wasn't too stiff to break open, the second is a bit worse. It's a fun novelty.

Mine had perfect wood but the action was rough. The first few times I fired it I had a hard time breaking it open. After 50 slugs the top rail came off, the welds or brazing broke.

Took the whole gun apart, polished all the internals with 600 grit paper and re-blued all the internals with some creme from Al Simmons. I used JB weld to remount the top rail and it all came together very nice.

Now I love this gun! Very smooth, built like a tank. Gets an instant fanclub going anytime I whip it out at the range. For $300 I have no regrets. Pulling both triggers with magnum slugs is just to much fun.

Williams has one now. Go and handle it. You may change your mind about wanting one....

C.Babes, Made in China...take that into consideration when considering quality. I don't own one of them, but I have purchased a gun from China, and will never again.

LMAO you have obviously never purchased a Norinco AR! Not only do I have over 4,000 rounds through mine without one failure, it seems to be the case for most people who have bought the Norinco ARs. Don't knock all the Chinese stuff. You can buy junk from the US and Canada as well. If I have the option to buy quality made Canadian merchandise I will buy it over Chinese but sometimes the Chinese products are amazing. The Norinco AR is probably the best deal out there right now.

You might as well just buy it, no man can resist awesome factor, even if they are crap. I bought a dominion arms outlaw that was crap and gave it away in frustration. Then less than 6 months later I bought the Norc. Resistance is futile...

lol I know a couple of guys who them and they say the same thing. I am sure I will break soon.

Mine came with a split in the stock and a barrel full of sand.

It'd built sturdy metal wise but made sloppy. A low quality chinese boom stick.

I'll keep it for ####s and giggles but it won't be winning any prizes.

a buddy of mine bought one of these... after seeing it and shooting it i wont be buying one. pull one trigger and bother hammers go, but one barrel fires....both primers dimpled, but one less than the fired one. put in other barrel and fire it, shell was fine, gun was ####. i own about 6 norinco guns, and i love them all, but i would not buy a norc coach gun.

Mine prints high and the left barrel shoots left. I put a magnetic truglo on the rail and now the right barrel shoots on. I also jb welded a second truglo tube to the left of the rail and now the left barrel shoots close to POA.

It has a lot of rounds thru it and shoots OK.

It is very compact and I have a lot of short guns. In a pinch it would be a handy gun to have in a very confined space.

arrrrrr, she be a fine boom stick for dynamic entry of ye ol' Spanish galleons... In a pinch she'll work as a peg leg.
She makes a big noise and flash like ten cannons... This beauty will shiver yer timbers. 'tis not a big deal if yer can't hit anything yer point at.
Yer fore stock may fall off but ye have the cabin boy lash it on with cord... If ye young cabin boy fails at this task, lash him with ye ol' fish stick, while yelling "prepare te be boarded".

:D.

WRT my previous reference to "very confined spaces" I was thinking of emergency times when its very short OAL would make it good for vehicle defense without having to modify the gun at all.

My Outlaw will shoot OO buck accurately enough to serve its purpose out to 10 or 15 yards. My forestock has stayed on and nothing has cracked or fallen off of it.

Is it the same quality has a high end O/U? Of course not, for the price it is ridiculous to expect that. Has MINE been reliable after range firing several hundred rounds of mostly full house OO buck? Yes. YMMV.

Just picked on up at Silverdale for $279. Very impressed with fit and finish, the wood is amazingly nice. Ran 50 rounds through it, #4 and 00 buck, zero issues, worked perfectly.
Here is a 1 minute video. Would I buy this again? Hell yes, I might have to get another one while they are still on sale!
