835 Ultimag Barrel Question

I'm going to be purchasing the 24" rifled slug barrel for my 835, and have a question...

Can I shoot buckshot out of this barrel or only slugs? Would I have to use my smooth barrel for buckshot?

I want to be able to carry slugs and buck shot during hunting season.

Thanks for any help.
 
Your 835 should pattern Federal Premium, 2 3/4" 00 Buck with Flight Control wads
into 8-10 inches at 25 yds. using the factory Mod tube which is .750".
Seeing as the bore on the regular barrel is .775", an .025" restriction should work
well with this load. :)
