Anyways... see what happens when you get a 1933 K-11 & 1933 K-31 then put them together in a small locked cabinet for a while!
These Swiss rifles like to multiply.

1) What is the purpose of the shiny ring on/in the barrel bulge? It won't fall off, however it is loose & moves around.
2) My first shots will be soon. Should the grease points only be in the bolt carrier guides?
3) Is there any barrel "break-in" procedure that is needed for these rifles? (or is that just a myth)

Thanks for your help in advance, and if there are any other words of wisdom please don't be shy as I am a virgin with this rifle ;}

Thoroughly grease the carrier raceways in the receiver, back of the bolt lugs, very light coat where the bolt slides in the carrier and cycle the action a few times. Oil up the trigger mech and hammer.

Don't worry about break in, just shoot it.

Oh and don't put velcro behind the ejection port, that's dainty and borderline ghey. Congrats on a fine rifle and happy shooting!

As shown below, the paint/finish on the brass deflector on these guns get's dinged up quite a bit with use. (This picture was taken after about 2500 rounds) A lot of people protect this area with a piece of Hockey tape or Velcro.

I too think that the Velcro/Hockey tape thing is pretty bad. Leave it the way it was intended.

MMMMMMMM! Nice start for a Swiss collection :-D

Question for PE90 users: What's the average accuracy (grouping) you get at 100m?

I won't be surprise if it's around 3cm, lol

I get 1" 1/4" with factory (5 rounds). The guys who reload are getting less than that. The rifle will shoot 1" no problem with good ammo.

Hard to come by. I have to get on a plane first to shoot this one;)

And people here whine that the Classic green is heavy bahaha!! Try lugging this pig around!

This was a really plain f***ing stupid concept. Should replace the carbine, the SMG and the light machine gun. Plus it had to be able to fire rifle grenades and also had to be accurate enough to be used for targetshooting.

The guys who wrote out the concept ought to be put against a wall and shot.

The freaking thing is about 6.5 kg heavy, loaded. At a time when other countrys got AK47, FN FAL's and G3. All around 2.5 kg lighter.

In the basement I have my dad's old service rifle, which he actually wanted to turn in because he hates the heavy lump of steel. Instead he gave it to me.

And in the past 11 years that I had it, I only fired it once.

Don't hold back.
Tell us how you really feel.:D

All that mine get out of cross breeding are Mosins or Norincos.
Probably some Mongol snuck into the gene pool.

If I put some bleach into the gene pool, does that make me some kind of nazi looking for the ultimate fleisch-gewehr?

Question for PE90 users: What's the average accuracy (grouping) you get at 100m?

Using my 1in7" twist Classic Green, and standard Iron sights, I shot 5 rounds into about a 1.9 inch group at 100M last week, and that's with cheap 55gr FE223 ammo. With optics and decent ammo, I believe 1MOA would be more than attainable.
